The Vietnam Home and Garden Expo 2027 is VINEXAD’s international trade fair for home décor, landscape design, gardening tools and outdoor materials, held 2–4 December 2027 at SECC, Ho Chi Minh City. It runs alongside Vietnam Expo HCMC and the Hardware & Hand Tools Expo, and suits suppliers looking for Vietnamese distributors, contractors and architects.
Wisematch is an official sales agent of VINEXAD, the organiser of the Vietnam Home & Garden Expo 2027. International companies can book booths, national pavilion space and visitor programmes for the Vietnam Home & Garden Expo 2027 directly through Wisematch — one English-speaking contact on WhatsApp from enquiry to show day.
What Wisematch does for you:

- A shared-stand or pavilion option for a first, lower-risk test of the market.

- A pre-show list of distributors, landscape contractors, design firms and developers, with meetings booked and an interpreter on your stand.
- Post-show follow-up: site visits, project meetings in the new year and, if needed, setting up a local entity.

If you searched “home and garden expo” and expected Melbourne, Omaha or Orlando: this is a different kind of event. Those are consumer home shows. The Vietnam Home and Garden Expo is a business-to-business fair in Vietnam’s largest commercial city, built for companies that want to sell into Vietnam through distributors, contractors and project developers. The organiser describes it as the only specialist event in Vietnam that puts home décor, outdoor materials, landscape design and garden tools in one hall; we have not found another fair in Vietnam with that exact mix.
Home and Garden Expo 2025 and 2026 in figures
| Edition | Dates and venue | Published scale | Source |
|---|---|---|---|
| 2025 | 4–6 Dec 2025, SECC | Nearly 250 companies, 300+ booths; exhibitors from Vietnam, Japan, China, Taiwan and others | Organiser releases, 25 Nov and 4 Dec 2025 |
| 2025 four-fair cluster | Same dates, with Vietnam Expo HCMC, Hardware & Hand Tools and Elevator Expo | 800+ companies and trade-promotion bodies from 20+ countries and territories, 1,000+ booths; 20,000+ visitors expected across the cluster | Organiser release, 25 Nov 2025 |
| 2026 | 3–5 Dec 2026, Hall A2, SECC | 20,000+ visitors expected | gardenexpo.com.vn overview |
| 2027 | 2–4 Dec 2027, SECC | Not yet published | VINEXAD 2027 calendar |
Named 2025 exhibitors show who you will stand next to: Zhejiang Zomax Garden Machinery, Zhejiang Huarui Tools, Nantong Victory Power Tool, HandsAm Industrial (Taiwan), Ningbo Q-Shine Lighting and Ganzhou Badu Technology, alongside Japanese soil-improvement maker KOFU and Vietnamese firms such as Panya Home Product Vietnam and DHP International (organiser, November 2025). The garden-machinery rows are heavily Chinese and Taiwanese; the décor and material sides are more mixed.
Honest reading of the numbers: the fair itself is mid-sized, around 250–350 exhibitors. What gives it reach is the week it shares — more than 1,000 booths across four VINEXAD fairs in the same venue. The organiser does not publish an audited visitor breakdown, so when you book through Wisematch we ask for the latest exhibitor list and the hall plan for your sector before you commit.
What is on show at the Home and Garden Expo, and who visits each sector
Home living and décor
Loose furniture, rattan and bamboo, decorative accessories and modern lighting. LED and outdoor lighting makers were on the 2025 floor. Visitors here are interior designers, homeware retailers, showroom owners and furnishing contractors. For a décor brand, the real customer is the importer or chain buyer, not the walk-in visitor.
Garden and landscape design
Urban gardens, trees and plants, bonsai and landscape decoration, including a “Garden Corner” showcase in 2025. This is where the co-organising landscape architects’ society is most visible. Visitors include landscape architects, landscaping contractors, resort and real-estate project teams, and architecture students.
Gardening tools and equipment
Smart irrigation, soil and grass treatment, lawnmowers, chainsaws, trimmers, leaf blowers, earth augers, electric barrows and lithium-battery tools. Visitors are tool distributors, hardware dealers, landscaping contractors and facility managers — many of whom also walk the Hardware & Hand Tools hall.
Outdoor living and materials
Wood, stone, concrete, garden furniture, camping products and small structures. At the 2025 seminar, suppliers presented recycled heat-reducing surfaces, water-resistant wood-concrete, UV-resistant decking and lightweight rooftop landscape modules (organiser seminar report, 5 December 2025). Visitors are architects, developers’ technical teams and building-material distributors: this is where specification conversations start.

Why exhibit at the Vietnam Home and Garden Expo: five reasons
1. Ho Chi Minh City is building homes again, and new homes get furnished and landscaped
After a long slowdown, new housing supply in Ho Chi Minh City reached about 14,500 units in the fourth quarter of 2025, up 130% on the previous quarter and 2.7 times the same quarter of 2024, according to One Mount Group (VnEconomy, 10 January 2026). Average primary apartment prices in the city centre climbed to VND103.2 million per m², up 25% year on year. Buyers paying those prices furnish their apartments, and developers selling them compete on landscaping, rooftop gardens and shared green space. That demand flows to décor importers, landscape contractors and outdoor-material distributors — the people who walk this hall.
2. The city is short of green space, and it has set targets to fix that
Ho Chi Minh City has nearly 370 public and residential parks totalling about 500 hectares, but only 0.55 m² of park area per resident; its target is at least 1 m² of green space per capita by 2030 (city Department of Construction report, via Báo Công Thương, 8 January 2025). Most parks are in the inner city, and several suburban areas have none. Speakers at the 2025 fair’s landscape seminar named the same pressures — too little green space, heat, flooding and the need for public space — and pointed to riverside parks in Thủ Thiêm and canal upgrades such as Nhiêu Lộc – Thị Nghè. If your product addresses heat, drainage, rooftop greening or low-maintenance planting, you have a story Vietnamese specifiers want to hear.
3. You meet the specifiers, not just the sellers
The co-organiser is the Vietnam Society of Landscape Architects. In 2025 the fair hosted a seminar on contemporary Vietnamese landscape identity, with the vice-president of the Vietnam Association of Architects and the head of landscape architecture at the University of Architecture Ho Chi Minh City among the speakers, plus an awards ceremony for landscape-architecture graduates. That brings architects and designers through the hall. For a decking, paving, irrigation or rooftop-system supplier, being specified by a design firm matters more than a single dealer order.
4. Garden-tool makers get two buyer pools in one trip
The Hardware & Hand Tools Expo runs in the same venue on the same days. Tool distributors and hardware dealers move between the halls. A battery-tool or garden-machinery brand can exhibit in one and meet buyers from both — Wisematch can help you decide which hall gives your products the better neighbours.
5. Vietnam is a manufacturing base for furniture and outdoor products
Vietnam’s wood and wood-product exports reached a record US$17.2 billion in 2025, with wooden furniture around US$9.4 billion in the first 11 months (Vietnam Customs and MOIT, via Vietnam News, 19 January 2026). Factories making outdoor furniture and décor for export buy hardware, coatings, fabrics, fittings and machinery. Some of them visit or exhibit here. For component and material suppliers, the fair is also a way to meet that production base. For foreign décor brands, it is a reality check: local manufacturing is strong, so your edge must be design, material or function.

Vietnam Home and Garden Expo vs other home, garden and furniture fairs
| Fair | When and where | Focus | Main buyer type | Best for |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Vietnam Home & Garden Expo | 2–4 Dec 2027, SECC, HCMC | Décor, landscape, garden tools, outdoor materials | Vietnamese distributors, contractors, architects, developers | Selling into southern Vietnam’s housing and landscape market |
| Vietnam Hardware & Hand Tools Expo | 2–4 Dec 2027, SECC (also 13–15 May 2027, VEC Hanoi) | Hand tools, power tools, hardware | Hardware dealers, tool importers, construction buyers | Power and garden-tool brands; compare with Home & Garden before booking |
| IGHE gifts and housewares | 18–21 Nov 2027, VEC Hanoi | Gifts, housewares, small home goods | Retailers, importers in the north | Housewares and small décor aimed at Hanoi and northern retail |
| VIFA EXPO | March, HCMC area (aggregator listings show 8–11 Mar 2027; confirm with organiser) | Furniture and home accessories for export | Overseas furniture buyers | Vietnamese furniture makers selling abroad — an outbound fair, not an inbound one |
The distinction that matters: VIFA-type furniture fairs bring foreign buyers to Vietnamese factories. The Home and Garden Expo brings Vietnamese buyers to foreign and domestic suppliers. If you want to sell into Vietnam, this is the one.
Who should exhibit, who should visit, and who should wait
| Company type | What you can achieve | Fit |
|---|---|---|
| Outdoor materials, decking, pavers, rooftop-garden systems | Meet architects, landscape contractors and developers’ technical teams; start specification talks | Strong |
| Irrigation, soil-improvement and smart-garden suppliers | Meet landscape contractors, resorts and facility managers | Strong |
| Garden machinery and battery-tool brands | Find a distributor; meet dealers from both this hall and Hardware & Hand Tools | Good — expect Chinese competitors in the same aisle |
| Lighting and décor brands with a clear design story | Shortlist importers and chain buyers; test price points | Good, if you have an import partner in mind |
| Foreign firms already in Vietnam | Meet the design and landscape community in one week | Good |
| Importers, contractors, developers (visitors) | Compare suppliers from Vietnam, China, Taiwan, Japan and beyond in one venue, plus three other fairs | Strong |
| Furniture makers seeking overseas export buyers | Few — this is a domestic-market fair | Weak; look at export furniture fairs |
| Live-plant exporters without a phytosanitary plan | Samples may be held at the border | Wait until the paperwork is ready |
How to take part in the Home and Garden Expo 2027
Counting back from 2 December 2027, you have about 13 months. That is enough time to do this properly.
- Now to December 2026 — see it first if you can. The 2026 edition runs 3–5 December 2026 in Hall A2 at SECC. Wisematch can arrange a trade-visitor programme so you walk the floor, see which aisles are busy, and meet two or three distributors before committing to 2027.
- By March 2027 — choose your hall and booth. We get the 2027 floor plan and the 2026 exhibitor list from VINEXAD and advise on Home & Garden versus Hardware & Hand Tools for tool makers. Shell-scheme booths (walls, fascia, lighting, furniture) suit first-time exhibitors; raw space suits heavy machinery and material displays. Wisematch handles the booking and contract in English.
- By May 2027 — confirm space and plan the stand. SECC Halls A and B are column-free with a 76 m span and a floor load of 5,000 kg/m² (SECC), which matters for stone, concrete and machinery. Ask us about power and water connections for irrigation demos or running equipment.
- June–August 2027 — compliance and shipping. Check electrical safety and energy labelling for powered tools and lighting, plant quarantine for live plants, soil and timber with bark, and Vietnamese labelling for retail goods. Wisematch coordinates temporary import with the official forwarder, Tradelinks Logistics, or your own.
- September–October 2027 — visas and meetings. E-visas are available to all nationalities for up to 90 days; Wisematch provides invitation letters where needed (see our visa guide for trade fairs). We build a list of 30–50 named companies — distributors, landscape contractors, design firms, developers — and book meetings. Prepare a Vietnamese catalogue with USD prices and Incoterms.
- 2–4 December 2027 — on the stand. A Wisematch interpreter works with your team. Qualify each conversation: what they buy, for which projects, how much a year, and who signs.
- December 2027 to March 2028 — follow up. Projects in Vietnam often start buying after Tết (Lunar New Year, February 2028), so keep conversations alive into the first quarter. We help arrange site and showroom visits, and if you need a local entity, see setting up a trading company in Vietnam.
Getting there: SECC is about 20 minutes from central Ho Chi Minh City and 45 minutes from Tan Son Nhat International Airport (SECC). Many exhibitors stay in Phú Mỹ Hưng, a short taxi ride away. Early December is normally in the city’s dry season, which helps if you want to use SECC’s outdoor area for a demonstration. More on the venue: SECC events 2027.

What a booth at the Home and Garden Expo will not do for you
A booth will not find you a distributor on its own, will not register your products, and will not turn a December conversation into a January order. Landscape and building projects move on developer timelines; décor chains buy on seasonal cycles. What the fair gives you is three days in front of the people who make those decisions in southern Vietnam, in a week when four related fairs fill the venue. If you arrive without booked meetings, most of those days go to passers-by. We do not promise a number of leads or orders. Don’t go to trade shows to hope — go to control probability.
Frequently asked questions about the Vietnam Home and Garden Expo
When is the Vietnam Home and Garden Expo 2027?
Vietnam Home and Garden Expo 2027 runs 2–4 December 2027 (Thursday to Saturday) at SECC, Ho Chi Minh City. The 2026 edition runs 3–5 December 2026 in Hall A2; like the 2025 edition, it is held in the first week of December at SECC.
How do I book a booth at the Vietnam Home and Garden Expo 2027?
Through Wisematch, an official sales agent of VINEXAD, the organiser. Send your product range, target buyers and preferred booth size on WhatsApp (+84 354 624 102) or to info@wisematch.vn. We reply the same working day in English with booth options and the floor plan, then handle the contract, visa letters, logistics and buyer meetings.
How big is the Vietnam Home and Garden Expo?
The organiser reported nearly 250 companies and more than 300 booths for 2025. Its homepage shows 350 companies, 400 booths, 15 countries and territories and 20,000 visitors, without a date. The four VINEXAD fairs held at SECC the same week reported more than 1,000 booths and 800+ companies and trade bodies in 2025.
What products can I exhibit?
Four sectors: home living and décor (furniture, rattan, accessories, lighting); garden and landscape design (plants, bonsai, urban gardens); gardening tools and equipment (irrigation, mowers, chainsaws, battery tools); and outdoor living and materials (wood, stone, concrete, decking, garden furniture, camping). Check import rules for live plants, soil and powered equipment before shipping samples.
Is it related to home and garden expos in Melbourne or the US?
No. Home and garden shows in Melbourne, Omaha, Orlando or El Paso are separate consumer events with different organisers. The Vietnam Home and Garden Expo is a trade-focused fair run by VINEXAD in Ho Chi Minh City every December, aimed at distributors, contractors, architects and retailers in Vietnam.
Can I visit as a buyer or importer?
Yes. Trade visitors register on the official site, and Vietnam Expo HCMC, the Hardware & Hand Tools Expo and the Elevator Expo run in the same venue the same week, so one trip covers four fairs. Wisematch can organise a visitor programme with pre-booked supplier meetings and an interpreter.
Who organises the Home and Garden Expo?
VINEXAD, the trade-fair company founded in 1975 and a UFI member, organises it with the Vietnam Society of Landscape Architects. The Ministry of Industry and Trade and VIETRADE are listed as hosts, and Lianfair and Wanfair as overseas partners.
