VietOffice Expo 2027 is Vietnam’s international exhibition for smart office solutions, office machines and stationery. It runs 29 June – 1 July 2027 at SECC, Ho Chi Minh City, alongside the new EduTech Vietnam show, organised by VINEXAD with the Vietnam Office Machine Association. It suits office-machine, smart-office and stationery brands looking for Vietnamese distributors and dealers.

Wisematch is an official sales agent of VINEXAD, the organiser of VietOffice Expo. International companies can book booths, national pavilion space and visitor programmes for VietOffice Expo directly through Wisematch — one English-speaking contact on WhatsApp from enquiry to show day.

What Wisematch does for you

  • Tells you whether VietOffice or the co-located EduTech Vietnam fits your product, then books the booth and handles the contract, floor plan and exhibitor manual.
  • Offers a place on a shared stand if you want to test the Vietnamese market before taking your own booth.
  • Supplies the exhibitor confirmation for your team’s e-visa.
  • Coordinates sample shipping and temporary import of exhibits, and flags certification or labelling your products may need.
  • Builds a list of distributors, dealers, integrators and school suppliers to invite, provides interpreters on show days, and helps with follow-up.

VietOffice is the only fair on VINEXAD’s calendar dedicated to the office supply chain, and it is co-organised with VOMA, whose chairman Nguyễn Tuấn Minh also chairs VPS Group, a Vietnamese office-equipment distributor (Tạp chí Công Thương, 31 July 2026). It is not a consumer back-to-school fair, and it is not a global sourcing show on the scale of Frankfurt, Tokyo or Guangzhou. It is built for one job: putting foreign and Vietnamese office brands in front of the people who distribute, install and buy them in Vietnam.

Three things stand out. Growth is steady but modest: from about 100 to 130 exhibitors and from 150 to 160 booths. That means a mid-sized foreign stand is visible, not lost in a crowd. The fair moved from Hanoi to Ho Chi Minh City in 2026, closer to Vietnam’s largest commercial market, its office towers and southern distributors, and a little further from ministries and the northern public sector. And in 2027 it gets its own dates (in 2026 it shared the week with VILOG, ROBOTEX and Viet ColdChain) with an education show as its partner, a more natural audience overlap. No visitor count has been published for 2025 or 2026; when you book with Wisematch, we ask VINEXAD for the 2026 visitor breakdown.

Searching for “VietOffice Hanoi 2026”? There was no Hanoi edition in 2026, and none is listed for 2027. The show is in Ho Chi Minh City for both years.

What is on show at VietOffice Expo

The organiser lists four product groups. The detail shows how broadly “office” is defined in Vietnam.

  • Stationery: writing instruments; paper products (printing and thermal paper, labels, notes); art supplies; school bags and learning tools; education equipment; desk accessories; and toys (construction, electronic, creative), because Vietnamese distributors often handle school supplies and toys together.
  • Office furniture and workplace supplies: desks, chairs, partitions, filing cabinets; water dispensers and purifiers, coffee and vending machines; chargers and power strips.
  • Office machines and technology: printers, shredders, scanners, projectors; ink and toner; computers, laptops and peripherals; and “smart office” systems: security and access control, IoT devices, electronic locks, lighting, time-attendance, video conferencing and meeting rooms, HR and performance software.
  • Accessories and gifts: bags, wallets, desk calendars, cards, phone and computer accessories, corporate gifts and awards, office decor.

At the 2026 edition, Tạp chí Công Thương reported that many exhibitors brought AI-based tools, document digitisation, workflow automation and data management alongside printing, projection and stationery. The programme included a talk on document management and data security for schools and offices, and a seminar on public procurement and Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) obligations for stationery and educational equipment.

Why exhibit at VietOffice Expo: five reasons for office and stationery brands

1. You meet the distributors, not just end users

Foreign office-machine and smart-office brands sell in Vietnam almost entirely through local distributors and dealers. VOMA’s role as co-organiser brings exactly those companies through the door, and the 2026 edition ran a business-matching programme with importers and distributors. If your plan is to appoint or support a Vietnamese distributor, this is the room where they are. ICP clear, meet the right buyer, close faster.

2. Ho Chi Minh City’s office market keeps adding space

The fair now sits in the city where Vietnam’s corporate offices concentrate. JLL put Ho Chi Minh City’s Grade A office stock at 663,600 m² at mid-2026, with 11,700 m² of net absorption in the first half, one major CBD completion (The Kross, 32,000+ m²) due in late 2026 and a further 233,000 m² expected from 2027 to 2030 (Real Estate Asia, August 2026). Tenants are financial services, real estate, technology and professional services firms: the buyers of printers, meeting-room systems, access control and furniture fit-outs.

3. A growing economy with rising consumer spending

Vietnam’s GDP grew 8.02% in 2025 (NSO via Vietnam News), and retail sales of goods and consumer services passed VND 7 quadrillion, up 9.2% (NSO via VNA). Offices, schools and households are all spending more, and stationery and office supplies move through the same retail and e-commerce channels that are growing.

4. Foreign groups are buying into Vietnamese stationery

The clearest market signal is a deal, not a forecast. Japan’s Kokuyo announced in December 2025 that it would acquire 65.01% of Thien Long Group, Vietnam’s largest stationery maker, by buying the holding company Thien Long An Thinh (46.82%) and then tendering for 18.19% more; the deal was valued at about US$177 million, with the share purchase expected by August 2026 and the tender offer in October–November 2026, subject to approval (Thời báo Tài chính Việt Nam, 5 December 2025). We could not confirm completion at the time of writing. Thien Long reported net revenue of VND 3,808 billion in the first 11 months of 2025, up 9.8%, of which VND 2,766 billion domestic (Doanh nhân/Báo Pháp luật, January 2026). Two lessons: foreign players see room to grow, and domestic brands have deep distribution, so a foreign stationery brand needs a clear niche.

5. One trip covers offices and schools

In 2027 the fair runs with Vietnam EduTech on the same dates at SECC. Many Vietnamese distributors serve both office and school channels, and VietOffice already includes school supplies and education equipment. A brand that sells to both meets both buyer groups in three days.

On market size: research-firm estimates of Vietnam’s stationery and office-equipment market that we found were internally inconsistent, so we do not quote them. If market size matters to your business case, commission data rather than relying on aggregator figures.

VietOffice Expo 2026 to 2027: why EduTech Vietnam sits next door

The official site describes the 2027 pairing as widening trade between companies, suppliers, education institutions and specialist visitors. For an exhibitor the practical effect is a larger visitor pool: school procurement staff and education distributors who come for EduTech will walk through VietOffice too.

Office, stationery and gift products also appear at other fairs on VINEXAD’s 2027 calendar. Here is how they differ, so you put your budget where your buyer is.

Our advice is simple. If your buyer distributes office machines or installs office systems, VietOffice is the specialist room. If your buyer is a school, choose EduTech. If you sell toys or gifts, wait for IBTE or IGHE in November rather than diluting a VietOffice stand.

How to exhibit at VietOffice Expo 2027, step by step

Don’t go to trade shows to hope — go to control probability. You have about eight months until the show opens on 29 June 2027.

  1. November–December 2026: send Wisematch your products, current Vietnamese partners (if any) and target channel. We get the 2026 exhibitor list and visitor breakdown from VINEXAD and confirm whether VietOffice and EduTech share a hall.
  2. January 2027: decide between VietOffice and EduTech, then pick a booth: shell scheme (walls, fascia, lighting, furniture) for a first visit, raw space if you bring a stand builder, or a place on a shared stand. Wisematch handles the application and contract.
  3. February–March 2027: check compliance. Electrical goods, toys and some school products may need Vietnamese certification and labelling before samples can be sold, and EPR obligations apply to some products and packaging. We flag what applies to you and coordinate temporary import of exhibits with the official forwarder.
  4. April 2027: book flights and apply for e-visas with the exhibitor confirmation we supply.
  5. April–May 2027: we build and send a list of 30–50 named distributors, dealers, integrators and school suppliers for your approval and invite them in Vietnamese.
  6. June 2027: print a Vietnamese-language catalogue with distributor terms (territory, margin, service obligations), not just specifications.
  7. Show days, 29 June – 1 July: qualify every visitor by channel, region and annual volume. Our interpreter keeps the conversation commercial.
  8. By 8 July 2027: follow up every qualified contact in writing, in Vietnamese where possible, with a second meeting or trial-order proposal. We help schedule distributor visits.

Budget lines to plan for

  • Space or shell scheme, stand build and furniture (we do not publish booth prices; ask us for current options).
  • Power for live demonstrations of printers, displays and conferencing systems.
  • Freight, temporary import and return of exhibits.
  • Interpreters, Vietnamese printed material and samples.
  • A second trip to visit distributors after the show, where most deals are decided.

Getting there

SECC is about 20 minutes from central Ho Chi Minh City and 45 minutes from Tan Son Nhat International Airport (SECC). Foreign staff can use Vietnam’s e-visa (all nationalities, up to 90 days) at evisa.gov.vn, or the 45-day exemption for citizens of 12 countries including Germany, France, Japan, South Korea and the UK under Resolution 44/NQ-CP. More: Vietnam business visa for trade fairs and SECC events 2027.

What a booth at VietOffice will not do for you

A booth will not appoint a distributor for you, register your products, translate your packaging or meet EPR obligations on your behalf. It will not bring large international buying delegations; this is a domestic-market fair with a regional exhibitor base. Nobody, including Wisematch, can promise a number of buyers, leads or orders. What the fair gives you is three days in one hall with Vietnam’s office-supply distributors, dealers and procurement teams. The meetings you arrange before the show and your follow-up after it decide what that is worth.

Frequently asked questions about VietOffice Expo

When is VietOffice Expo 2027?

VietOffice 2027 takes place from 29 June to 1 July 2027 at the Saigon Exhibition and Convention Center (SECC), 799 Nguyễn Văn Linh, Ho Chi Minh City. The dates and venue are published on the official site, vietofficexpo.com.vn, and match VINEXAD’s 2027 calendar. It runs alongside the new Vietnam EduTech exhibition on the same dates.

How do I book a booth at VietOffice Expo?

Book through Wisematch, an official sales agent of VINEXAD, the organiser of VietOffice. Send us your products, target channel and preferred booth size on WhatsApp or email. We reply the same working day in English with booth options and the floor plan, then handle the contract, visa letters, shipping and buyer invitations.

Is VietOffice held in Hanoi or Ho Chi Minh City?

The 2024 and 2025 editions were at I.C.E Hanoi in May. The 2026 edition moved to SECC in Ho Chi Minh City (30 July – 1 August), and the 2027 edition stays at SECC. There is no separate VietOffice Hanoi 2026 or 2027 edition on the organiser’s site.

Who organises VietOffice?

VINEXAD, a Hanoi-based exhibition company founded in 1975 and a UFI member since 2019, organises VietOffice together with the Vietnam Office Machine Association (VOMA). VOMA’s chairman, Nguyễn Tuấn Minh, also chairs VPS Group, a Vietnamese office-equipment distributor.

How big is VietOffice?

The 2026 edition had 160 booths from 130 companies in 8 countries and territories, according to Tạp chí Công Thương, the Ministry of Industry and Trade’s journal. The first edition in 2024 had about 100 companies on 150 booths with more than 6,000 visits, according to the organiser. No 2027 target has been published yet.

What products can be exhibited at VietOffice?

Four groups: stationery (including school supplies and toys), office furniture and workplace supplies, office machines and technology (printers, projectors, computers, smart-office systems such as access control and video conferencing), and accessories and corporate gifts. Classroom technology fits better at the co-located Vietnam EduTech show.

Can I visit VietOffice without exhibiting?

Yes. Trade visitors pre-register online. Wisematch can arrange a visitor programme for foreign companies with pre-booked distributor meetings, an interpreter and transport. Visiting first is a sensible step for stationery and furniture brands that are unsure how they compare with domestic makers.
