EduTech Vietnam 2027, the International Exhibition of Educational Technology & Equipment, makes its debut on 29 June – 1 July 2027 at SECC, Ho Chi Minh City, alongside VietOffice Expo. VINEXAD organises both. It suits EdTech, school-equipment, lab and semiconductor-training suppliers looking for Vietnamese distributors, private schools, universities and training companies.
Wisematch is an official sales agent of VINEXAD, the organiser of EduTech Vietnam 2027. International companies can book booths, national pavilion space and visitor programmes for EduTech Vietnam 2027 directly through Wisematch — one English-speaking contact on WhatsApp from enquiry to show day.
What Wisematch does for you
- Booth selection and contract: we send the EduTech floor plan as soon as it is released, show you where the EduTech and VietOffice areas meet, and handle the booking with VINEXAD.

EduTech Vietnam is VINEXAD’s answer to a gap in its own calendar. The organiser announced it on the VietOffice website: “In 2027, VIETOFFICE EXPO will be held alongside VIETNAM EDUTECH – International Exhibition of Educational Technology & Equipment, expanding the platform to connect businesses, suppliers, educational organizations, and industry professionals.” The two shows share dates, venue, booking system and visitor registration.
The move follows VietOffice’s own history. School supplies and educational equipment were already part of its stationery group. At VietOffice 2026, the seminar programme included a session on document-management solutions for schools and offices, and another on public procurement and Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) obligations for the stationery and educational-equipment sector (Tạp chí Công Thương, 31 July 2026). Exhibitors at that edition came from China, Japan, South Korea, Taiwan and India. Giving education its own show name lets VINEXAD invite schools, universities, education departments and training companies directly, rather than as a side audience of an office fair.
Because 2027 is a first edition, you are buying space on VINEXAD’s plan and network, not on a show history. We say that plainly because it changes how you should prepare, which we cover in the step-by-step section below.
What you can exhibit: the four EduTech product groups
The official exhibit-categories page, updated for 2027, lists EduTech next to VietOffice’s four office groups. It is more detailed than most first-edition shows publish, and it tells you who the organiser expects on the floor.
| EduTech group | What the organiser lists | Typical buyer |
|---|---|---|
| Educational equipment & learning materials | Subject-specific teaching equipment, visual models, teaching aids, basic classroom equipment, music and arts equipment, science laboratory equipment and complete lab solutions; textbooks, reference books, maps, teaching posters, digital learning materials, educational software, smart school-library systems; educational toys, early-learning kits, preschool playground equipment, STEM toys | School-supply distributors, private and international schools, preschool chains, bookshops |
| EdTech & digital transformation | Interactive displays and smartboards, computers and education tablets, classroom audio-visual systems, school and classroom management software, CCTV and access control | AV and IT integrators, private schools, universities, education departments via tender partners |
| Semiconductor technology & high-tech education | Advanced lab equipment, EDA tools, FPGA training kits, embedded systems, cleanroom process simulation software, semiconductor measurement and signal-testing equipment, curriculum-transfer packages for engineering universities; universities and research institutes presenting microelectronics and IC-design programmes; semiconductor companies presenting academies, scholarships and jobs | Engineering universities, research institutes, semiconductor firms building talent pipelines |
| School infrastructure & living spaces | Student desks and chairs, dormitory beds, lockers, bookshelves, uniforms, decoration; school kitchens, school medical equipment, fire safety, water systems, lighting, doors, security and access control | School builders and operators, contractors, facility managers, boarding-school projects |
The semiconductor group is the part to notice. None of the other Vietnamese education events we compared below lists semiconductor training equipment as a category. For a supplier of EDA software, FPGA boards or measurement equipment for teaching labs, that is a reason to look at this show before the others.
Why exhibit at EduTech Vietnam 2027
A first edition has to earn its place on your calendar. These are the five reasons we think EduTech can, each with the evidence behind it.
1. Education has a protected budget line, including investment spending
Resolution 71-NQ/TW on breakthroughs in education and training, signed on 22 August 2025, commits at least 20% of state budget spending to education and training, with at least 5% of that for investment and at least 3% for higher education. Its goal is a modern, equitable system ranked among the world’s top 20 by 2045 (Vietnam Pictorial, VNA, 26 November 2025). General Secretary To Lam summed up the approach in September 2025 as “Quality as the axis – Teachers as the core – Technology as the leverage”. The same resolution plans 248 inter-level boarding schools in border communes from the 2025–2026 school year. Investment spending is where equipment, furniture, labs and classroom technology sit, so this matters directly to an equipment supplier.
2. Ho Chi Minh City alone is a large and growing school market
Ho Chi Minh City expected more than 2.5 million pupils from kindergarten to upper secondary in the 2025–2026 school year, up more than 39,000 on the previous year: 478,458 in kindergarten, 939,002 in primary, 759,278 in lower secondary and 352,051 in upper secondary. The city planned to bring 1,287 new budget-funded classrooms into use for that year (Sài Gòn Giải Phóng, 17 July 2025, citing the city People’s Committee). Every new classroom needs desks, boards, displays and devices. The private and international school sector in the city buys faster than public schools, because the owner or principal decides.
3. Vietnam is building a semiconductor workforce, and universities need the teaching equipment
Decision 1017/QĐ-TTg, signed in September 2024, sets a target of at least 50,000 engineers and graduates across the semiconductor value chain by 2030, plus at least 5,000 AI specialists serving the industry. It provides intensive semiconductor training for 1,300 lecturers and the establishment or upgrade of four national-level laboratories and local laboratories at eight public higher-education institutions in the north, centre and south. The parallel semiconductor strategy targets at least 100 design companies and ten packaging and testing plants in 2024–2030 (Viet Nam News, 24 September 2024). Labs, EDA licences, FPGA kits and curriculum packages are exactly what EduTech’s semiconductor group lists. This is the most specific market reason for the show, and it suits Korean, Japanese, Taiwanese, European and American lab-equipment and software suppliers.
4. One booth reaches two audiences: education and office buyers
EduTech shares dates and venue with VietOffice. VietOffice 2026 drew office-machine distributors, stationery wholesalers, school suppliers and corporate buyers, and ran business matching (Tạp chí Công Thương, 31 July 2026). EduTech adds school leaders, universities and training companies. Products that sell to both audiences gain the most: interactive displays and projectors, printers and document systems, furniture, video-conferencing and document-management software. If that is your range, the boundary between the two show areas is the strongest position on the floor, and we will tell you where it falls once the plan is out.
5. The timing fits the Vietnamese school calendar
Vietnamese schools prepare for the new year over the summer, and the school year usually opens in early September. A show at the end of June sits in the window when schools and suppliers finalise equipment and stock for the coming year, and distributors decide which brands to carry into the new school year. Whether a buyer signs at that point depends on their budget cycle, so qualify each one at the booth. A supplier who meets a distributor in June can still ship demo units before September.
EduTech Vietnam vs other education technology exhibitions in Vietnam
Searches for “triển lãm công nghệ giáo dục” (education technology exhibition) and “edutech vietnam” return several events. Here is how they compare, built from what each organiser or a reputable outlet has published.
| Event | Latest or next date | Venue | Focus | Main buyer type | Published scale |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| EduTech Vietnam (VINEXAD) | 29 Jun – 1 Jul 2027, 1st edition | SECC, HCMC | Equipment, EdTech, semiconductor education, school infrastructure; with VietOffice | Distributors, private schools, universities, office buyers | Not published (VietOffice 2026: 160 booths) |
| Education Vietnam (with EDUCON conference, Edu-Agora matching) | 6–8 May 2026; 6–8 May 2027 listed by ticketing directories only | SECC, HCMC | Education and EdTech, strong conference programme | School leaders, education professionals | Directories list 316 exhibitors and 12,800 visitors (unverified) |
| VietEdu Hanoi (Coex and SEGE Fairs) | 15–18 Oct 2026 | VEC, Hanoi | EdTech, strong Korean presence | Northern schools and distributors | 70 companies, 60+ booths (VietnamPlus, 2026) |
| Education cooperation conference and EdTech exhibition (Ministry of Education and Training) | 8–9 Oct 2026 | Grand Plaza, Hanoi | Policy conference plus exhibition | Public-sector decision-makers | Not published; Canada ran a national booth |
Three practical points follow. First, Ho Chi Minh City will likely have two education shows about eight weeks apart in 2027, both at SECC. Education Vietnam has an established conference and matching programme; EduTech has VINEXAD’s distributor network, the VietOffice audience and the semiconductor-education group. If you can only do one, pick by buyer: conference-led school leadership points to May, distributors and university labs point to June. Second, Hanoi’s education events run in autumn and lean towards public-sector contacts; a supplier targeting ministries may get more there. Third, Korean firms are active: VietnamPlus named Saeon, The K-Bolt, Dongwon C&S Edu and Arothinking among VietEdu 2026 exhibitors. Expect that competition in the market, whichever show you choose.
A note on numbers: none of these events publishes audited visitor counts. Treat every scale claim as the organiser’s own statement until you see an exhibitor list.
Who should exhibit at EduTech Vietnam, who should visit, and who should wait
| Company type | Our advice | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Semiconductor and engineering lab-equipment suppliers (EDA, FPGA kits, measurement, cleanroom simulation) | Exhibit | A dedicated category no other Vietnamese education show lists; university lab budgets under Decision 1017 |
| Interactive display, projection and classroom-AV brands that also sell to offices | Exhibit, ideally on the EduTech–VietOffice boundary | Two buyer groups in one hall |
| STEM, robotics and science-lab kit suppliers | Exhibit | Private and international schools in HCMC buy directly |
| School furniture, dormitory and facility suppliers | Exhibit or join a pavilion | New classrooms and boarding schools need fit-out |
| Language-learning and training platforms with a Vietnamese interface | Exhibit with live demos | Many language centres and training companies are based in HCMC |
| Vietnamese importers, distributors and school-supply wholesalers | Visit | Meet foreign brands looking for local partners before the new school year |
| Private school owners, university procurement and lab managers | Visit | See demos and compare suppliers in three days |
| Suppliers selling only to public schools with no local bidding partner | Visit first, exhibit later | Public purchases run through tenders and local bidders |
| Consumer learning apps aimed at parents | Wait or choose consumer channels | This is a B2B show |
| Software with no Vietnamese language or local support | Wait | Buyers will ask for localisation and data-handling terms first |
Behind that table is a simple buyer map. Public schools are a large market, but they buy through tenders, usually via Vietnamese suppliers who bid for them, so at the booth you meet the bidders and distributors rather than the school. Private and international schools, universities, language centres and training companies decide faster and are the realistic first customers for a foreign brand. ICP rõ → gặp đúng buyer → chốt nhanh: know which of these buyers you want before you choose your booth.

How to exhibit at EduTech Vietnam 2027, step by step
We count back from 29 June 2027. As of this update you have just over eight months, which is enough time if you use the first months to reduce the risk that comes with any first edition.
- November 2026: decide your format. An independent booth, a place in a national or group pavilion, or a visitor programme for this first edition. Wisematch checks with VINEXAD which pavilions and partners are confirmed and sends you the available options.
- December 2026: get the floor plan and the facts. We request the EduTech floor plan, the list of confirmed exhibitors, supporting education bodies and the visitor-promotion plan: which universities, school groups and education departments will be invited. For a first edition, these written answers are your evidence.
- January 2027: choose your zone and position. Use the product groups and fit table above. If you sell to both schools and offices, we look for a stand on the EduTech–VietOffice boundary and reserve it in your name.
- February 2027: confirm the booth type and build. Raw space suits companies with their own stand builder and large demo set-ups (a mock classroom or lab bench). A shell-scheme booth with walls, fascia, lighting and basic furniture suits first-time exhibitors. Wisematch handles the contract and keeps you on the organiser’s deadlines for fascia names, catalogue entries, power and internet orders. Ask for a dedicated internet line if you run live software demos.
- March–April 2027: compliance and samples. Electrical and electronic devices, toys and some teaching equipment may need conformity marking and Vietnamese labelling before sale; software that handles student data needs a clear data-handling policy. We tell you what applies and arrange temporary import of demo equipment through the organiser’s appointed forwarder.
- April–May 2027: visas, travel and buyer meetings. Your team applies for an e-visa (up to 90 days, all nationalities, at evisa.gov.vn) or uses a visa exemption; we provide invitation-letter support where needed. In parallel we help you build a list of 30–50 named targets: distributors, private and international school groups, universities, language-centre chains. We send invitations in Vietnamese for specific meeting slots. Don’t go to trade shows to hope — go to control probability.
- Show days, 29 June – 1 July 2027: run the booth. Demonstrate in Vietnamese with an interpreter we arrange. Qualify every visitor by buyer type, budget cycle and who signs.
- July 2027: follow up fast. Schools plan for September, so offer pilots or trial classrooms within a week. We help with translation, second meetings and visits to schools and distributors.
SECC is about 20 minutes from central Ho Chi Minh City and 45 minutes from Tan Son Nhat International Airport, by the venue’s figures. Citizens of 12 countries, including Germany, France, Japan, South Korea and the UK, can enter visa-free for up to 45 days. More in our guide to the Vietnam business visa for trade fairs and the full list of SECC events in 2027.

What a booth at EduTech Vietnam will not do for you
A booth will not put you on a public tender list. It will not certify your equipment, localise your software or translate your curriculum. Because this is a first edition, nobody can tell you how many school buyers will walk the aisles, and Wisematch does not promise buyers, leads or orders. Không hứa suông — chúng tôi đo bằng deals thực. What the show can give you is three days in the same building as the distributors, private-school owners and university lab managers who decide what reaches Vietnamese classrooms, next to an office fair whose visitors overlap with yours. The meetings booked before you arrive decide whether that is worth the trip. If the organiser’s answers on partners and visitor promotion are thin by January 2027, we will tell you to visit this year and exhibit in 2028.
