VILOG 2027, the Vietnam International Logistics Exhibition, runs 5–7 August 2027 at SECC in Ho Chi Minh City, 9 am to 5 pm. It is the country’s main trade show for freight forwarding, ports, warehousing, material handling and logistics IT. It suits equipment makers, forwarders and tech suppliers who want Vietnamese cargo owners, dealers and partner agents.

Wisematch is an official sales agent of VINEXAD, the organiser of VILOG 2027 (VINEXAD co-organises the show with the Vietnam Logistics Business Association). International companies can book booths, national pavilion space and visitor programmes for VILOG 2027 directly through Wisematch — one English-speaking contact on WhatsApp from enquiry to show day.

What Wisematch does for you:

  • Booth selection and contract: we send the floor plan, explain the hall layout across VILOG, Viet ColdChain and ROBOTEX, and handle the booking paperwork with VINEXAD.
  • Pavilion or shared-stand option for companies that want a smaller first presence, and outdoor space requests for vehicles and heavy equipment.
  • Invitation letters for your Vietnam business visa, and contacts for temporary import and exhibit shipping into SECC.
  • A pre-show list of Vietnamese cargo owners, dealers or partner agents to invite, plus interpreters on the stand.
  • Post-show follow-up support in Vietnamese, so quotations and site visits do not stall after you fly home.

VILOG is young. Its whole history fits in one table, and the trend is the useful part. Each line below comes from a Vietnam News Agency (VNA) or Viet Nam News (VNS) report at the time, with the organiser’s own figure added where it differs.

Booths grew from 354 in 2023 to more than 550 in 2026, about 55% in three years. The country count has stayed between 20 and 23 every year, so growth comes from more companies per country rather than new markets. Visitor figures mix forecasts and actual counts and are not comparable year to year; the organiser’s 18,126 for 2026 is the only post-show number we found. When you plan, work from the lower exhibitor figure (340+) and the organiser’s visitor count.

What you will find on the floor at the Vietnam Logistics Expo

The VNS preview of VILOG 2026 lists the mix well: logistics firms, seaport operators, transport companies and international freight forwarders on one side; robotics, AI, forklifts, commercial vehicles, smart warehousing and automation suppliers on the other. Named exhibitors included Gemadept, ITL Group, Transimex, Long An International Port, Konoike Vinatrans Logistics, Nissin-inotrans and Jinjiang Shipping, alongside Hyundai Thanh Cong Commercial Vehicle, ISUZU, Hangcha, XCMG, Vinatech Group and Tan Thanh Container. The organiser’s gallery adds booths from Saigon Newport, CIMC, Eurorack, Interlog and the air-cargo body IATA. Gold sponsors on vilog.vn are DELO and Giao Hang Nang (GHN); silver sponsors are Long An Port (Dong Tam), Gemadept, ITL and Hyundai Thanh Cong.

Three things set VILOG apart from a general industrial fair:

  • An industry association runs it with VINEXAD. The VLA brings its members onto the floor and into the seminar rooms. In 2026, global forwarder networks and associations — WCA, JCtrans, WIFFA, CIFA and TCCA — took part, according to VNS.
  • A real meeting programme. The 2026 agenda opened with the first ASEAN–Viet Nam Logistics Forum, then air-cargo workshops, a Smart & Green Logistics discussion, seminars on cold chain, AI, automation and the digital workforce, and networking sessions that connected logistics providers with fruit and vegetable exporters (VNS, 25 July 2026). The 2025 edition ran a 1:1 business matching programme and a buyer programme.
  • Site visits. The VILOG Insight Tour took visitors to AJ Total Vietnam’s cold store and Tan Cang – Hiep Phuoc Port in 2026. For a foreign forwarder or investor, that is a port and a warehouse seen in one afternoon.

Who visits the Vietnam Logistics Expo

The organiser has not published a visitor breakdown by job title or country, so treat the following as what the programme is built for, not as audited data. Ask for the breakdown before you sign; Wisematch requests it from VINEXAD for every client.

  • Cargo owners: logistics, supply chain and purchasing managers from exporters, importers and manufacturing plants in the southern industrial belt. The fruit-and-vegetable matching sessions in 2026 show the organisers deliberately bring in agri-food exporters.
  • Logistics operators as buyers: 3PLs, warehouse operators and port companies shopping for forklifts, racking, AGVs, software and vehicles.
  • Partner seekers: foreign forwarders and network members recruiting Vietnamese agents, and Vietnamese forwarders looking for overseas partners.
  • Investors and industrial-park tenants: companies evaluating warehouse or factory sites, who use the infrastructure section and the Insight Tour.

Why exhibit at VILOG 2027: five concrete reasons

A logistics show is only worth the flight if the people you need are on the floor and you could not reach them more cheaply another way. Here is why VILOG passes that test for some companies — and the evidence behind each reason.

1. Your customers are the factories that make three-quarters of Vietnam’s exports

Vietnam’s goods trade reached US$930.05 billion in 2025, up 18.2%, with exports of US$475.04 billion and imports of US$455.01 billion (National Statistics Office, via VCCI). Foreign-invested companies produced 77.3% of those exports, and 93.6% of imports were production inputs. In plain terms: thousands of factories move parts in and finished goods out every day, and their logistics managers decide which forwarders, warehouses and equipment they use. Many of them sit within an hour or two of SECC. VILOG is the one week a year when those managers come to look at providers in one hall.

2. New factories mean new warehouses, racking and fleets over the next three years

Registered FDI in the first nine months of 2026 was US$50.36 billion, up 76.4% year on year, with US$21.07 billion disbursed, up 12.1% (VietnamPlus, 20 October 2026). Committed money today becomes warehouses, forklifts, racking, WMS licences and transport contracts in 2027 and 2028. An equipment or software supplier that meets the project and operations teams now is early, not late. Logistics demand is also visible in single projects: DHL broke ground on a US$71 million logistics campus in Hung Yen in July 2026 (Viet Nam News).

3. National policy is pushing exactly what VILOG sells: lower costs, green and digital logistics

The national logistics strategy approved in November 2025 sets growth of 12–15% a year for the sector to 2035, aims to cut logistics costs from 18–20% of GDP to 12–15%, and targets a top-40 place in the World Bank Logistics Performance Index; Vietnam ranked 43rd (VietnamNet/VNA, 13 November 2025). The sector has grown 14–16% a year recently. VILOG’s 2027 theme repeats “Green Logistics”, and VLA chairman Dao Trong Khoa told the 2026 opening that competitiveness “is determined by technology, data, and sustainability” (VNA). If you sell electric forklifts, emission tracking, automation with a measured payback, or software that cuts empty runs, the policy wind is behind you and the seminar programme is built for your pitch.

4. The association pavilion is the fastest way to recruit a Vietnamese agent

Freight networks such as WCA, JCtrans and WIFFA, and associations such as CIFA, TCCA, HNLA and VALOMA, appear as VILOG partners on vilog.vn. For a foreign forwarder, that means three days in which many of Vietnam’s independent forwarders walk the same aisles. Agency relationships are built on trust and reference checks, so you will not sign on the stand — but you can shortlist five candidates and visit their offices the following week in Ho Chi Minh City.

5. Three logistics audiences in one trip — and food exporters the week after

Viet ColdChain runs in the same halls on the same dates, and ROBOTEX is listed as a concurrent show on vilog.vn. Vietnam Medi-Pharm Expo is at SECC that week, so pharma distributors are on site. Then Vietfood & Beverage – ProPack opens at SECC on 12–14 August 2027, full of food exporters who need forwarding and cold chain. Stay ten days and you meet logistics buyers, then their own customers. See our Viet ColdChain guide and Vietfood Ho Chi Minh City 2027 guide.

Don’t go to trade shows to hope — go to control probability. VILOG works when you arrive with a named list of the 30–50 companies you need to meet, not when you wait for the right buyer to wander in.

VILOG vs other logistics exhibitions in Asia: which one fits?

VILOG is not the biggest logistics show in Asia, and it does not need to be. The question is which floor holds your buyers.

ShowNext datesFocusWho you meetCost profile

Our rule of thumb: if your growth target is a named Vietnamese customer base — factories, 3PLs, a dealer, a partner agent — VILOG gives you more relevant conversations per dollar than a regional show. If you need regional headquarters in Singapore to approve a contract for five countries, Singapore is the better floor. Many equipment makers do CeMAT Asia for Chinese suppliers and VILOG for Vietnamese buyers; they are different jobs.

How to exhibit at VILOG 2027, step by step

Counted back from 5 August 2027. Wisematch handles the steps marked in each line, so you deal with one English-speaking contact rather than several Vietnamese offices.

  1. November–December 2026 — decide the show and the goal. Tell us what you sell and which Vietnamese customers you need. We check fit against VILOG, Viet ColdChain and ROBOTEX, send the 2026 exhibitor list and request the visitor breakdown from VINEXAD.
  2. January–February 2027 — choose space. Options are a shell-scheme booth, raw space for your own build, a place in a national or network pavilion, or outdoor space for trucks and large equipment. We send the floor plan and current booth options; prices are set by the organiser and quoted to you directly.
  3. February–March 2027 — sign and pay. Wisematch prepares the booking with VINEXAD and confirms your stand number in writing. Early booking matters most for outdoor and corner space.
  4. April–May 2027 — programme slots. We apply for a VILOG Talk presentation and business-matching participation if they run again, and check whether the Insight Tour repeats.
  5. May–June 2027 — visa and exhibit shipping. We issue invitation letters for your business visa. Exhibits must go through freight forwarders — the organiser states that SECC is not a shipping address — and machines you will take home should enter under temporary import. Halls A and B at SECC are column-free with a floor load of 5,000 kg/m² (Hall B static exhibits only), and there is a 22,000 m² outdoor area (SECC).
  6. June–July 2027 — invite named buyers. Wisematch builds a target list of 30–50 cargo owners, dealers or agents, and helps with Vietnamese-language invitations and product sheets showing lanes, capacities, service levels or payback.
  7. 5–7 August 2027 — on site. Interpreters on the stand if you need them. Qualify every visitor: monthly volume, sites or lanes, current provider, contract renewal date.
  8. By 14 August 2027 — follow up. Send quotations or site-visit offers within a week; we can call Vietnamese prospects for you so the conversation does not cool.

Practical notes for SECC

  • SECC is in Tan My Ward (formerly District 7), about 20 minutes from the city centre and 45 minutes from Tan Son Nhat International Airport, per the venue. Cat Lai Port is 11 km away.
  • Stay in Phu My Hung, next to SECC, to avoid the cross-city commute in August traffic.
  • Visa: e-visa up to 90 days for all nationalities at evisa.gov.vn; 45-day exemption for 12 countries including Germany, France, Japan, Korea and the UK (Resolution 44/NQ-CP). More in our business visa guide for trade fairs.
  • Planning to stay? See trading companies in Vietnam, IRC and ERC licensing and representative offices.

Visiting VILOG as a shipper or buyer

Not everyone needs a booth. If you are a foreign manufacturer setting up in Vietnam, or an importer looking for a forwarder, VILOG lets you shortlist providers in three days. Registration is free on the official site.

  • Before: mark ten providers from the exhibitor list that serve your lanes — for example, southern Vietnam to Europe by sea, or cross-border trucking to China.
  • At the show: ask each the same five questions — own fleet or brokered; warehouses owned or leased; bonded capability; in-house customs brokerage; two reference customers in your sector.
  • Use the seminars: they are the quickest way to hear how Vietnamese providers talk about capacity, cost and green credentials.
  • After: visit two warehouses before signing anything. Wisematch can organise a visitor programme with meetings and site visits; if sourcing rather than shipping is your goal, read our guide to sourcing in Vietnam.

What a booth at VILOG will not do for you

VILOG will not hand you freight volume or equipment orders. Logistics contracts are decided on price tests, trial shipments and reference checks after the show; equipment purchases follow site surveys and demonstrations, often months later. We cannot promise a number of leads or contracts, and we will not. What the show gives you is three days with Vietnam’s logistics community in one building. The result depends on who you invite before you arrive and how fast you quote afterwards.

Frequently asked questions about VILOG 2027

When and where is VILOG 2027?

VILOG 2027, the Vietnam International Logistics Exhibition, runs 5–7 August 2027 at the Saigon Exhibition and Convention Center (SECC), 799 Nguyen Van Linh, Tan My Ward, Ho Chi Minh City. Opening hours are 9 am to 5 pm. The dates match on vilog.vn and the VINEXAD 2027 calendar, and Viet ColdChain runs alongside it.

How do I book a booth at VILOG 2027?

Book through Wisematch, an official sales agent of VINEXAD, which co-organises VILOG with the Vietnam Logistics Business Association. Send us your product, target customers and preferred booth size on WhatsApp (+84 354 624 102) or by email. We reply the same working day in English with the floor plan, booth options and the next steps, and handle the contract with VINEXAD.

How big was VILOG 2026?

The organiser reports 550 booths, more than 340 exhibitors from 23 countries and territories, and 18,126 visitors for VILOG 2026, held 30 July to 1 August 2026. Viet Nam News reported 450 exhibitors from 22 countries and territories at more than 550 booths before the opening. Booth numbers have grown every year since 354 in 2023.

What can I see at a logistics exhibition in Vietnam?

VILOG covers five sectors: transport and forwarding, warehouse and cold chain, material handling, logistics IT, and industrial-zone and port infrastructure. In 2026 exhibitors included Gemadept, ITL, Transimex, Long An International Port, Hyundai Thanh Cong, XCMG and Hangcha, plus networks such as WCA, JCtrans and WIFFA, forums, matching sessions and port and cold-store tours.

Is VILOG only for logistics companies?

No. Logistics companies are the main exhibitors, but the visitors who matter most are cargo owners: exporters, importers and factories looking for forwarders, warehouses and equipment. In 2026 the organisers ran sessions linking logistics providers with fruit and vegetable exporters. Equipment makers also sell to 3PLs and ports, which are buyers as well as exhibitors.

Is there a logistics exhibition in Hanoi?

Not under the VILOG name. Every edition we verified, 2024 to 2026, was held at SECC in Ho Chi Minh City, and the VINEXAD 2027 calendar lists no Hanoi edition. Northern providers travel to SECC for the show. If your buyers are mainly in the north, tell Wisematch and we will suggest a Hanoi show or a visitor programme instead.
