Viet ColdChain 2027, the Vietnam International Cold Chain Exhibition, runs 5–7 August 2027 at SECC, Ho Chi Minh City, in the same halls as VILOG. It covers industrial refrigeration, reefer transport, cold storage equipment and packaging. It suits refrigeration, cold-room, reefer and monitoring suppliers who want Vietnamese cold-store operators, exporters and 3PLs.

Wisematch is an official sales agent of VINEXAD, the organiser of Viet ColdChain 2027 (VINEXAD runs the show with the Vietnam Logistics Business Association). International companies can book booths, national pavilion space and visitor programmes for Viet ColdChain 2027 directly through Wisematch — one English-speaking contact on WhatsApp from enquiry to show day.

What Wisematch does for you:

  • Booth selection and contract: we show you where the cold chain zone sits on the joint VILOG floor plan and book raw space or shell scheme with VINEXAD.
  • Technical stand needs: we check three-phase power, floor load and outdoor space for reefer trucks before you sign, not after.
  • Visa invitation letters, and introductions for exhibit shipping and temporary import of refrigeration units.
  • A named-account list of cold-store operators, cold transport providers, seafood and fruit exporters and pharma distributors to invite, plus interpreters on the stand.
  • Post-show follow-up and site visits to prospects’ cold stores in the southern provinces.

Viet ColdChain is a specialist cold chain exhibition that sits inside a larger logistics show. That one fact shapes most decisions. It shares SECC, the dates, the organising team and visitor registration with VILOG; the cold chain site even points search engines to vilog.vn as its canonical address. So your audience is wider than cold chain buyers — forwarders, ports, warehouse operators and the logistics teams of manufacturers and exporters all walk the same aisles — and most published figures are joint figures. Viet ColdChain does not publish a standalone show report; when you see “450 enterprises” (VNA, 2026) or “25,000 visitors” (Nhip Cau Dau Tu, 2026), they describe the whole block. Before you choose a stand, ask how many 2026 exhibitors were in the cold chain zone and how many registered visitors selected cold chain as an interest. Wisematch asks VINEXAD for these numbers on your behalf.

For 2027 the VILOG overview page sets a target of 490 businesses from 25 countries and territories, more than 600 booths and over 25,000 trade visitors across the event. Treat it as a target, not a result.

What is on the floor at the Vietnam cold chain expo, and who visits

The “highlighted brands” strip on coldchainexpo.vn shows booth codes from a past edition: CIMC, BYD, Eurorack, Daiwa House, Hoa Phat, Vinatech Group, Tan Thanh, Jiangsu Panda, Shandong Anbei, Nanjing Suhong, Xiamen, Marco Lift, An Duc racking, New Way (Hong Kong), Tradeport Hong Kong and Vietnamese engineering firms such as Co Khi Viet and Bac Viet. That is a realistic picture: reefer container and truck-body makers, insulated panels and racking, forklifts, electric trucks, and logistics operators, from Vietnam, China, Hong Kong and Japan. It is not a confirmed 2027 list.

On the joint floor in 2026, Viet Nam News named logistics companies such as Gemadept, ITL, Transimex, Long An International Port and Konoike Vinatrans, plus equipment brands including Hyundai Thanh Cong, ISUZU, Hangcha and XCMG. Transimex is also one of the leading cold-storage operators named by FiinGroup, which means some of your best prospects are exhibitors themselves.

The organiser does not publish a visitor breakdown by job title. From the programme and the co-location, expect:

  • Cold-store operators and developers looking at refrigeration plant, panels, doors, docks, racking and automation.
  • Cold transport providers and large shippers looking at reefer bodies, transport refrigeration units and telematics.
  • Exporters and processors — seafood, fruit, meat, dairy. In 2026 the joint programme ran networking sessions linking logistics providers with fruit and vegetable exporters.
  • Pharma distributors and hospital buyers, because Vietnam Medi-Pharm Expo runs at SECC the same week.
  • 3PLs and forwarders adding temperature-controlled services.

Why exhibit at Viet ColdChain 2027: five reasons backed by numbers

1. A cold chain market growing 12% a year, with capacity still being built

FiinGroup’s Vietnam Cold Chain Market Report 2025 (data to December 2024) values the market at US$202 million in 2024, with demand growing 12.4% a year from 2021 to 2024, driven by seafood exports, meat imports (+18.1%), food service, dairy, pharma and fresh produce. Designed cold storage capacity was 1.3 million pallets at the end of 2024 and is forecast to pass 1.7 million by 2028, with 10 new facilities in the pipeline. Twenty-seven facilities were added in 2021–2024. Every one of those sites needs refrigeration plant, panels, doors, racking and maintenance.

2. The cargo is right outside the hall: seafood and fruit exports worth about US$20 billion

Vietnam exported US$11.29 billion of seafood and US$8.56 billion of fruit and vegetables in 2025 (Customs and NSO data via VCCI and Viet Nam News). Most of that moves through cold rooms, reefer containers and temperature-controlled trucks in the south. Savills put 87% of Vietnam’s cold storage supply in Ho Chi Minh City and the neighbouring provinces of Binh Duong, Long An and Dong Nai (cited by Nhip Cau Dau Tu, 2023). SECC is in the middle of that cluster, and Cat Lai Port is 11 km away.

3. 2027 is a running-cost year — good news if your product saves energy

FiinGroup reports that the sector’s net margin fell from 1.6% in 2022 to -1.5% in 2023, with a temporary fall in occupancy over 2023–2025 as new capacity arrived faster than demand. Operators in that position buy what cuts electricity bills, raises pallet density or reduces product loss. A stand that leads with kilowatt-hours saved per pallet position, or shrinkage avoided per tonne, gets longer conversations than one that leads with capacity.

4. A concentrated buyer base you can map before you fly

The top 10 companies hold 46.4% of cold storage capacity and 75.0% of cold transport; the professional cold transport fleet was 1,499 trucks run by 31 providers in 2024 (FiinGroup). FiinGroup names Transimex, Lineage Logistics, Hung Vuong, AJ Total and Hanaro TNS among storage leaders and ABA Cooltrans and Dai Tan Logistics in transport. For a reefer, telematics or refrigeration supplier, that is a named-account market: ten booked meetings matter more than 2,000 badge scans. ICP clear → meet the right buyer → close faster.

5. One trip, four buyer groups: logistics, pharma, automation, then food

The cold chain floor shares SECC with VILOG; Vietnam Medi-Pharm Expo and VIREC run at SECC that week; ROBOTEX is listed as concurrent. A week later, Vietfood & Beverage – ProPack opens at SECC on 12–14 August 2027, where seafood, fruit and frozen-food companies stand behind their own counters. Stay ten days and you meet cold-store operators, pharma distributors and the food exporters who are their customers.

Viet ColdChain vs other cold chain and cold storage shows

If you searched for a “cold storage expo” or “cold storage exhibition”, you will find other events. Here is how they compare. Dates for non-VINEXAD shows come from third-party listings and should be confirmed with their organisers.

Our view: if your buyer is a refrigeration engineer, a single-topic show may give a denser crowd. If your buyer is a cold-store operator, a logistics company, an exporter or a pharma distributor in Vietnam, Viet ColdChain’s position inside VILOG and the August block at SECC is the advantage. The two Vietnamese shows do not clash in 2027, so some suppliers will do both.

How to exhibit at Viet ColdChain 2027, step by step

Counted back from 5 August 2027. Wisematch handles each step with VINEXAD and the venue, so you deal with one English-speaking contact.

  1. November–December 2026 — fit check. Tell us what you sell and who you need to meet. We send the joint floor plan, the cold chain zone boundaries and the 2026 exhibitor list, and request zone-level exhibitor and visitor figures.
  2. By January 2027 — choose the space. Raw space for heavy refrigeration units and truck bodies; shell scheme for monitoring, software and packaging; or a place in a national pavilion if your country runs one in the block. Prices are set by the organiser and quoted to you directly.
  3. February–March 2027 — book and order services. We confirm your stand number and order power. A running compressor or chilled display needs a dedicated three-phase connection, ordered early.
  4. March–May 2027 — technical checks. SECC states a floor load of 5,000 kg/m², but Hall B carries static exhibits only because it sits over a basement; we confirm your hall before you ship. SECC has about 22,000 m² of outdoor area; we ask whether outdoor space is offered for reefer trucks. We also check whether live refrigerant charges are allowed in the hall and what fire-safety paperwork the venue needs.
  5. May–June 2027 — visa and shipping. We issue visa invitation letters and introduce forwarders for temporary import. Display machinery must be re-exported or duty-paid after the show.
  6. June–July 2027 — book meetings. Wisematch builds a list of 20–40 named accounts — cold-store operators, cold transport providers, seafood and fruit exporters, pharma distributors — and helps with Vietnamese-language invitations and a running-cost sheet.
  7. 5–7 August 2027 — show days. Interpreters on the stand. Qualify each visitor: what they store or move, pallet positions or trucks, who signs.
  8. 12–14 August 2027 — walk Vietfood to meet end users; then follow up every qualified contact within a week and offer site visits.

What a booth at Viet ColdChain will not do for you

A booth will not turn a cold-store operator into a buyer in three days. Refrigeration plant and cold-room builds are capital purchases with long approval chains; the decision often sits with a board or a foreign parent. The stand gives you access and credibility. The contract comes later, after site visits, a technical proposal and often a pilot. No organiser and no agent can promise a number of buyers or orders, and we do not. Don’t go to trade shows to hope — go to control probability: book the meetings first, and use walk-in traffic as a bonus.

Frequently asked questions about Viet ColdChain

Viet ColdChain 2027, the Vietnam International Cold Chain Exhibition, runs 5–7 August 2027 at the Saigon Exhibition and Convention Center (SECC), 799 Nguyen Van Linh, Tan My Ward, Ho Chi Minh City. The official site and the VINEXAD 2027 calendar show the same dates. It shares the halls with VILOG, the Vietnam International Logistics Exhibition.

How do I book a booth at Viet ColdChain 2027?

Book through Wisematch, an official sales agent of VINEXAD, which organises Viet ColdChain with the Vietnam Logistics Business Association. Send us your product, target buyers and preferred stand size on WhatsApp (+84 354 624 102) or by email. How big is the Vietnam cold chain expo?

The cold chain site shows 300+ exhibitors, 400+ booths and 20+ countries and regions, with 20,000+ visitors, but these counters are undated and close to the combined VILOG figures. For the joint 2026 event the organiser reports 550 booths, 340+ exhibitors from 23 countries and territories and 18,126 visitors. No standalone cold chain report has been published.

What products are shown at Viet ColdChain?

Four sectors: industrial refrigeration, cold transportation and equipment, cold storage and equipment, and packaging and labelling solutions. Past exhibitor logos include CIMC, BYD, Eurorack, Daiwa House, Hoa Phat, Jiangsu Panda and Vietnamese engineering firms — reefer and container makers, racking and insulated-panel suppliers, truck brands and logistics operators.

How large is the cold chain logistics market in Vietnam?

FiinGroup valued Vietnam’s cold chain market at US$202 million in 2024, with demand growing 12.4% a year from 2021 to 2024. Designed cold storage capacity reached 1.3 million pallets at the end of 2024 and is expected to exceed 1.7 million by 2028. Most modern capacity is in and around Ho Chi Minh City.

Is there another cold storage exhibition in Vietnam?

Yes. Co-Ref Vietnam, run by Connect Exposition Asia, is a single-topic cold chain and refrigeration show; third-party listings give 19–20 May 2027 in the Ho Chi Minh City area, with differing venues. It does not clash with Viet ColdChain. Choose by buyer: engineers at Co-Ref, operators, exporters and logistics buyers at Viet ColdChain.
